Sculpture by the Sea Bondi 2022 Aqualand Artist Interview

I was honoured to speak about my work Waiting Rastor at Sculpture by the Sea in Bondi as part of the Aqualand Artist Interview series. (October 2022)

SCULPTURE BY THE SEA BONDI

21 OCTOBER – 7 NOVEMBER 2022

Sculpture by the Sea returned to the Bondi to Tamarama Beach coastal walk as the world’s largest free to the public sculpture exhibition. The spectacular coastal walk will be transformed into a 2km long sculpture park over three weeks featuring more than 100 sculptures by artists from Australia and across the world.

Interview with Richard Morecroft

Sian Watson studies ancient rock art from around the globe and brings these cave paintings into three-dimensional form. Animals of ambiguous shape become reality through steel, cement and paint – or sometimes through the time-honoured traditions of cast bronze. As Sian tells Richard Morecroft, she is searching for a sense of movement; a contemporary dynamism derived from the art of millennia past. (April 2021)
